Remote Online Notary (RON)

REMOTE ONLINE NOTARIZATION (RON) – WA State Legislation passed an addendum allowing notaries with a digital endorsement to perform notarial acts on online. An encrypted virtual meeting room will be provided to perform a notarial act to ensure security.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. You will need internet access to Google Chrome or Safari browser.

  2. You will need a smartphone or computer with a webcam to receive a link via text or email message and upload a photo of your ID. You must have a valid Government-issued ID and Social Security Number to be eligible for RON.

AUTHENTICATION

RON requires each signer to have a valid form of US identification and a social security number. Each signer will go through an ID verification process and Knowledge-Based Authentication at the beginning of the online session. If a signer cannot complete these processes, they cannot proceed to the online notarization session.

SAFE & CONVENIENT

Rest assured that your notary will handle your documents with complete confidentiality as you have them notarized from the convenience of your own home or office location.

  • Remote Online Notarization (RON) fee - $25 per notarial act, and another notary acts are $15 per person.

  • Document Setup Fee - $10.00 accepting the document, inserting fillable form fields, and signature tags for identity and certification purposes is part of the setup fee.

  •  Requests for modification of documents 6 hours after the accepted appointment will incur an additional $15 modification fee. Less than 6 hours notice is automatically charged an additional $25.

GENERAL NOTARY

  1. Notarization of Signatures: This is the most common notarial service. You can notarize signatures on various types of documents, such as contracts, affidavits, deeds, wills, and powers of attorney.

  2. Administering Oaths and Affirmations: As a notary, you can administer oaths and affirmations to individuals who need to make sworn statements or affidavits.

  3. Certification of Copies: You can certify copies of original documents as true and accurate representations of the original. This is often required for educational transcripts, passports, and other important records.

  4. Loan Document Notarization: You can specialize in notarizing loan documents for mortgage closings, refinances, and other financial transactions.

  5. Real Estate Transactions: Notarize documents related to real estate transactions, including property deeds, title transfers, and mortgage documents.

  6. Medical Records Notarization: Some states allow notaries to notarize medical documents, including medical power of attorney and advanced healthcare directives.

  7. Immigration Forms: Assist with the notarization of immigration-related forms, such as affidavits of support.

  8. Legal Documents: Notarize various legal documents, including court pleadings, divorce agreements, and prenuptial agreements.

  9. Travel Consent Forms: Notarize parental consent forms for minors traveling without their parents.

  10. Acknowledgments and Jurats: Perform acknowledgments (certify that the signer willingly signed the document) and jurats (administer an oath to the signer for a sworn statement).

  11. Remote Online Notarization (RON): If permitted in your jurisdiction, offer remote notarization services, allowing clients to notarize documents online using secure video conferencing technology.

  12. Mobile Notary Services: Provide the convenience of traveling to the client's location, such as their home, office, or a mutually agreed-upon location, to notarize documents.

In-Person Electronic Notarization

In-person electronic notarization (IPEN) is just like a traditional paper-based notarization with one exception: the documents being notarized are       electronic. During an IPEN, the signer and Notary meet physically face-to-face, review the documents on a computer or mobile device, and use     electronic signatures in place of ink signatures.
